Aims Power Single Pole Mount Rack for 6 Solar Heavy Duty Panels - PV-6X250POLE

The AIMS Power Heavy Duty Solar Single Pole Mount Rack is made for the avid solar system seeker. Holding up to 6 large PV solar panels (up to 2.0 KW). This system can hold more panels depending on panel size. The heavy duty single pole rack is made of high quality, structural grade, corrosion resistant steel. The aluminum clamps and HD rails along with the stainless steel hooks and hardware provide the most durable single pole rack system on the market. This system includes everything needed for installation, except the actual concrete foundation to anchor the pole. The single pole mount installs quickly using special splicing kits, easy to use clamps and universal HD sliding rails. The rack can hold up to large 6 panels (265 watts and larger) and adjusts to four different degree angles. Changing the pole mount’s angle is easy using the convenient U bolt and pitman arm.

What our Experts Think Ā
  • The AIMS Power PV-6X250POLE is a heavy-duty single pole solar mounting rack designed to hold up to 6 PV panels, ideal for off-grid and remote solar installations.
  • Engineered with galvanized steel, aluminum rails, and stainless steel hardware for long-term corrosion resistance and outdoor durability.
  • Supports up to 6 large solar panels (typically 250W–330W each), enabling a compact multi-kilowatt solar array on a single pole structure.
  • Adjustable tilt design with multiple angle settings (around 10°, 20°, 30°, 40°) for seasonal optimization and improved energy yield.
  • Built for demanding environments with high wind resistance (up to ~102 mph) and strong snow load handling, making it suitable for rural and exposed locations.
  • Includes universal sliding rails and clamp system, allowing flexible compatibility with most standard PV panel frames.
  • Designed for ground or pole-mounted solar arrays, ideal when roof space is limited or maximum sun exposure is required.
  • Requires a concrete foundation (not included), ensuring a stable base for long-term structural integrity.

Q&A

Q: What is the AIMS Power PV-6X250POLE Single Pole Mount Rack?
A: The AIMS Power PV-6X250POLE is a heavy-duty single pole solar mounting system designed to securely hold up to 6 photovoltaic (PV) solar panels for off-grid, residential, farm, or commercial solar installations.

Q: How many solar panels can it support?
A: It supports up to 6 large solar panels (typically 250W–330W each), with a total capacity of around 2.0 kW depending on panel size.

Q: What materials is it made from?
A: It is built from corrosion-resistant galvanized steel, 6000-series aluminum rails, and stainless-steel hardware for long-term outdoor durability.

Q: Is it adjustable?
A: Yes. The rack allows seasonal tilt adjustments with multiple angle settings (commonly 10°, 20°, 30°, and 40°) for optimized solar production.

Q: What are its durability ratings?
A: It is engineered to withstand wind speeds up to about 102 mph and significant snow loads, making it suitable for harsh weather conditions.

Q: Does it require a foundation?
A: Yes. It requires a concrete foundation (typically around 63" square by 24" deep) for secure pole installation.

Q: What makes this solar pole mount useful?
A: It offers a modular, easy-to-install design with sliding rails and clamps, reducing drilling and custom fabrication while supporting flexible solar panel layouts.

Maintenance Tips Ā  Ā
  • Ensure the concrete foundation remains solid and crack-free (required base ~63" deep Ɨ 24" square) to maintain structural stability under wind and load stress.
  • Periodically check and tighten U-bolts, clamps, and rail hardware to prevent panel misalignment from wind vibration.
  • Inspect the galvanized steel frame and aluminum rails for rust, corrosion, or coating damage—touch up exposed metal if needed.
  • Keep all stainless-steel fasteners and joints clean to prevent salt, dust, or moisture buildup in outdoor environments.
  • Verify tilt adjustment mechanisms (10°, 20°, 30°, 40° settings) are secure after seasonal changes or storms.
  • Check that solar panel clamps and end/mid mounts remain firmly seated to avoid panel slippage or frame stress.
  • Inspect after high winds (rated up to ~102 mph) for any pole flex, loosening, or foundation movement.
  • Keep vegetation and debris clear around the base to prevent moisture retention and corrosion at ground level.
  • Re-torque all major structural bolts annually for long-term stability in outdoor conditions.
