Aardwolf  180º Rotation Vacuum Lifters 160kg - AERV-180

The Aardwolf 180° Rotation Vacuum Lifter series is a crane- and hoist-integrated vacuum lifting system designed for handling flat, smooth, nonporous materials up to 160 kg (353 lbs). Both variants provide full 180° rotation and are built for demanding use in stone fabrication shops, glass handling, and job site installation work.

Both models share the same core design: a high-performance vacuum pump for strong, stable suction; adjustable vacuum pads with integrated measuring scales and locking handles; a self-balancing system; an integrated support stand for stable storage; and audio-visual safety alerts for vacuum pressure monitoring. The key difference is power source — the ARV-180 runs on compressed air (pneumatic), while the AERV-180 runs on 24V electric power with a quick-swap battery for cord-free operation.

Both lifters are compatible with Aardwolf cranes and hoists (sold separately), and an optional dual-position fabrication table is available as an accessory.

Features
  • Stone slab handling and fabrication
  • Glass panel lifting and installation
  • Large-format flat material positioning
  • Shop and job site use with cranes or hoists
  • Any smooth, nonporous flat load up to 353 lbs

A: It features four 200 mm vacuum pads that provide secure gripping on suitable flat, non-porous surfaces.

Q: What safety features are included in the AERV-180?
A: The lifter includes automatic pressure control and audio/visual alerts to help monitor vacuum performance during lifting.

Q: What powers the AERV-180 vacuum lifter?
A: The unit operates with a 220V single-phase electric motor for consistent lifting and rotation performance.

Q: Why choose the Aardwolf AERV-180?
A: The AERV-180 combines vacuum lifting, 180° rotation, stability, and safety controls, making it ideal for stone fabrication, glass handling, and installation work.

Maintenance Tips
  • Inspect before every shift: check vacuum pads, hoses, seals, and frame for wear, cracks, or leaks to prevent load failure.
  • Clean suction pads daily: remove dust, stone slurry, and oil to maintain strong, stable vacuum grip.
  • Check vacuum system performance: ensure pressure gauge, pump auto-start, and audio/visual alarm are working correctly.
  • Monitor vacuum leaks: stop operation immediately if pressure drops or alarms trigger, and re-test seals before reuse.
  • Inspect rotation mechanism (0–180°): ensure smooth movement, no binding, and secure locking during rotation tasks.
  • Maintain hoses & fittings: keep connections tight and replace any hardened or cracked hoses immediately.
  • Battery & electrical care (if equipped controls): keep battery charged, terminals clean, and wiring protected from moisture.
  • Lubrication & moving parts: lightly lubricate pivot points as recommended, avoiding contamination of vacuum pads.
  • Storage best practice: store indoors, dry, and dust-free to extend seal and pump lifespan.
  • Use within rated limit only (160 kg WLL): avoid overload to prevent structural and vacuum system damage.
