The ProSteel Deluxe PSD14 Home Safe received the UL® RSC Residential Security Container burglary rating due to its thick 10 gauge steel construction, continuous weld and added security features.
The PSD14 Deluxe Home Safe comes with a 100 minute fire rating that was tested at 1680º Fahrenheit. Along with the safes fire insulation, the PSD14 also features a Palusol® Door Seal that will expand in the case of a fire to seal off the interior from heat and smoke.
Securing the door shut on the PSD14 are 9 total, 1 ¼" thick chrome-planted locking bolts. These bolts use a 4-way locking system, meaning they lock the door all four sides into the body of the safe. With these security features the door becomes extremely pry-resistant. The ProSteel Deluxe Home Safes come with a UL Listed Electronic Lock. This model features extra security features added to the lock for extra protection.
The PSD14 Deluxe Home Safe features multiple upgraded interior features. ProSteel's premium door panel offers additional storage options with its pockets, netted pouches and looped webbing. The cantilevered modular shelves come with 6 adjustable storage shelves, 2 drawers and 1 jewelry box. The entire interior is lined with a gray fabric material to prevent scratches to your valuables being stored inside. The interior also features an LED light kit and electrical power outlet. The floor is raised to prevent your rifles from getting hit on the edge of the door frame when pulling them out of the safe.
The PSD14 Deluxe Home Safe comes in a Hammer Gray Gloss Finish. To open the door, this safe comes with a black chrome antique turn handle. The Deluxe Home safe series comes with the attempted break-in, or fire.
