What our Experts Think
  • Ideal body for hidden floor storage
The Hayman FS2300B Floor Safe Body Only gives you the secure, concealed foundation for a custom in‑floor safe — install it flush with concrete and pair it with a compatible Hayman door for maximum stealth protection.
  • Rustproof, moisture‑resistant polyethylene construction
Its patented polyethylene body won’t rust or leak, meaning no condensation or water seepage issues inside the safe even when embedded in concrete — a key advantage over traditional steel bodies.
  • Spacious and organized interior
Includes built‑in storage shelves, a filing system, and a false floor to help organize valuables, documents, and cash more efficiently than most bare safe enclosures.
  • Flush cover plate & compatible design
Comes with a steel cover plate that sits flush with finished flooring (concrete, tile, or carpet) and supports most Hayman FS series doors, giving you flexibility in lock and door choices.
  • Natural fire & burglary benefits
When installed in concrete, the body gains inherent fire resistance (heat rises away) while the concrete mass itself adds significant tamper resistance — making it tougher to attack compared to above‑ground safes.

Q&A

Q: What is the Hayman FS2300B Floor Safe Body Only?
A: It’s a patented polyethylene in‑floor safe body designed for use with a compatible Hayman FS‑series safe door and lock — providing a secure base to install a concealed floor safe under concrete.

Q: Does this include a door or locking mechanism?
A: No — this is body only; you must add a Hayman interchangeable safe door and lock separately (mechanical or electronic) to complete the safe.

Q: What makes the polyethylene body special?
A: The patented polyethylene body is rustproof and leak‑resistant, preventing moisture and corrosion that traditional metal bodies can suffer when installed in concrete.

Q: How is the FS2300B installed?
A: It is set into a concrete slab or new floor pour so the top sits flush with the finished floor, providing hidden, high‑security storage.

Q: What internal features does the FS2300B body include?
A: It includes built‑in storage shelves, a vertical filing system, carpeted interior, and a false floor for organized storage of valuables.

Maintenance Tips
  • Keep Interior Dry: Place silica gel or moisture absorbers inside to protect stored items from humidity and condensation.
  • Clean Interior Shelves: Vacuum or wipe the carpeted interior and shelves regularly to remove dust and debris.
  • Check Floor Opening Edges: Inspect the polyethylene body lip and edges for dirt or standing water that can interfere with a tight cover fit.
  • Protect Opening Area: When cleaning floors, avoid splashing water into the safe opening to maintain long‑term moisture resistance.
  • Ensure Cover Plate Fit: Make sure the cover plate (when installed) sits flush with finished flooring to block dust, debris, and moisture.
  • Avoid Overloading: Organize contents without crowding to preserve access and interior condition.
  • Annual Hardware Check: Occasionally check and lightly lubricate any removable parts or interior fittings for smooth use.
