These band saws maintain the heritage of long-term reliability and performance that make them a standard in industrial metalworking, now enhanced with exclusive job site protection technology and an all-metal direct drive system for exceptional durability. The protection technology uses a proprietary composite material with crush zone barriers for rugged, long-lasting protection. The all-metal direct drive gearing system maximizes tool life while requiring less servicing than a chain drive.

A gear-protecting clutch extends gear and motor life by absorbing high-impact forces caused by blade lock-ups, and a new debris protection system prolongs pulley life by removing debris during use. The slimmer motor housing improves line of sight for superior cut accuracy, and a balanced body design allows the tool to rest naturally and comfortably in the user’s hands. At 14.5 lbs., this lighter design provides greater control and reduces fatigue. A tool-free, button-actuated adjustable shoe allows users to quickly switch from an extended shoe to no shoe in seconds.
