Maintenance Tips
-
Daily cleaning (critical): Unplug and let the unit cool slightly (warmānot cold). Wipe rollers, splash guards, and exterior with warm soapy water to remove grease and food residue.
-
Clean drip pan often: Remove and empty the grease tray daily to prevent buildup, odors, and fire risk.
-
Avoid abrasive tools: Do not use steel wool or harsh scrub padsāthese damage chrome rollers and reduce non-stick performance.
-
Clean while warm (best practice): Lightly warm rollers clean more easily and prevent hardened grease buildup (common commercial practice in roller grills).
-
Check roller rotation: Ensure all rollers spin smoothly; remove any debris that may block chain or sprocket movement.
-
Inspect heating zones: Verify front/rear heat controls work evenly to maintain consistent cooking temperature.
-
Electrical safety check: Regularly inspect cords, plugs, and switches for wear or overheating signs.
-
Deep clean weekly: Fully sanitize rollers, edges, and internal surfaces where grease accumulates.
