The SawStop Professional Cabinet Saw (PCS) combines SawStop’s patented safety system with class-leading quality and performance, making it ideal for avid hobbyists and small shop professionals. In addition to unmatched safety and dust collection, this 3hp table saw offers many other features including convenience, precision engineering, and durability that make it the right saw to get the job done.
The heart of any SawStop Saw is the skin contact detection. The blade carries a small electrical signal that is continuously monitored by a digital signal processor. The signal changes when it comes in contact with skin since the human body is conductive. This triggers the quick release aluminum brake. A heavy-duty spring forces the brake into the teeth of the spinning blade, stopping it instantly.
A good fence system is essential to accurate cutting. The 36” and 52” rail lengths come with SawStop’s famous T-Glide Fence made of heavy gauge steel, which makes it rigid and accurate. A magnified indicator lens on the fence makes it easy to see measurements down to 1/32”. Widely spaced glide plates and an infinitely adjustable rail provide flawless travel along the extension table. The Zero Clearance insert supports the wood along the cut and reduces tearout.
The Professional Cabinet Saw’s true vertical gas assisted elevation system makes raising and lowering the blade a breeze. The trunnions and motor are perfectly balanced for precise tilt adjustments, providing consistent and accurate blade alignments at all elevations. Not only does this improve the accuracy of your cuts, it also reduces the risk of binding and kickback.
Made of a solid piece of cast iron, SawStop tables are sturdy and machined ground to the tightest tolerances. Additionally, the beveled edges of the tables prevent scratching of delicate surfaces. The poly-v-ribbed belts transfer more power to the blade for better cuts with less vibration. The powder-coated steel cabinet resists rust and corrosion to ensure life-long reliability.
The SawStop Professional Cabinet Saw is built to work with any kind of wood for any kind of cut, including rips, crosscuts, angled cuts, beveled cuts, wide cuts, and narrow cuts. Designed by woodworkers to provide extraordinary safety, quality, and performance that truly sets it apart from other table saws, the PCS is truly unmatched.

What is this saw best for?
Professional-grade ripping, crosscutting, angled cuts, and joinery on both hardwoods and sheet goods with high accuracy.
How powerful is the motor?
The 3 HP motor provides strong, continuous cutting power for heavy and frequent use.
What makes the 52″ T-Glide fence stand out?
It offers extended reach, rigid alignment, and smooth adjustment — ideal for large stock and precise repeat cuts.
Can it handle large or long workpieces?
Yes — enhanced support from rails and the extension table improves control and safety for oversized materials.
Clean the tabletop, rails, and fence after each use to remove dust and debris.
Check blade alignment and fence calibration regularly to maintain precision.
Replace blades appropriate to the material and cut type; dull blades compromise quality and increase strain.
Inspect belts and bearings periodically; service or replace when worn to ensure smooth operation.
Keep dust collection ports and guards clean to maintain airflow, safety, and visibility.
