SawStop 5HP, 3ph, 230v Industrial Cabinet Saw w/36" T-Glide Fence System, Rails & Extension Table (old)

The SawStop Industrial Cabinet Saw is the definition of industrial grade. This 5hp cabinet saw is the heaviest, most powerful and highest quality 10" cabinet saw available. The 3-phase, 230v motor configuration with a 36" Industrial T-Glide Fence Assembly offers the durability, versatility, and the peace of mind only SawStop's patented safety system can provide.

The heart of any SawStop Saw is the skin contact detection. The blade carries a small electrical signal that is continuously monitored by a digital signal processor. The signal changes when it comes in contact with skin since the human body is conductive. This triggers the quick release aluminum brake. A heavy-duty spring forces the brake into the teeth of the spinning blade, stopping it instantly.

Multi-v-ribbed belts transfer motor power and provide more torque with less vibration. SawStop engineers have meticulously designed the under table assemblies for maximum performance. A gas piston carries the weight of the internal mechanism, allowing the operator to effortlessly raise or lower the blade. Additionally, the trunnions and motor are perfectly balanced for precise tilt adjustments.

SawStop's Industrial T-Glide Fence, made of durable steel, glides smoothly over the saw. It is infinitely adjustable and locks down solid. Multiple guide plates and the adjustable rail prevent rough/jerky movements commonly found with other fences.

Pair with the optional  to maximize flexibility without forfeiting a reliably solid cutting surface!

All SawStop Industrial Cabinet Saws come with a 2-year warranty, as well as a 5-year motor warranty.

Maintenance Tips
  • Clean the tabletop, rails, and fence after each use to remove dust and debris.

  • Check blade alignment and fence calibration regularly to maintain cut accuracy.

  • Replace blades appropriate to material and cut type; dull blades reduce quality and strain the motor.

  • Inspect belts, bearings, and drive components periodically; service or replace as needed for smooth operation
