Rinse the suit inside and out with fresh water immediately after diving to remove salt, sand and chlorine, which can degrade neoprene over time. Use cool or lukewarm water â avoid hot water.
Pay special attention to the neck, cuffs, zipper and seams, where residue tends to accumulate.
Deep Clean Periodically
Occasionally use a wetsuitâsafe cleaner or mild wetsuit shampoo to neutralize odors and remove oils and bacteria.
Avoid harsh detergents or bleach, which can weaken neoprene.
Dry Properly
Turn the wetsuit inside out and hang it on a wide hanger in a shaded, wellâventilated area until dry; then flip and dry the exterior.
Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources (UV and heat damage neoprene and reduce flexibility).
Gentle Handling & Storage
Don and remove the suit gently to avoid overstretching seams or tearing.
Store loosely on a wide hanger or flat in a cool, dry place away from chemicals and sharp objects.
Inspect & Repair
Check for tear, seam damage or zipper issues before each use; repair small tears with wetsuit cement or neoprene patches.
