Makita 2 In. AVT Rotary Hammer Accepts SDS-MAX Bits - HR5212C-HIDDEN

The Makita 2 Inch Advanced AVT rotary hammer is powered by a 15 Amp motor that delivers 14 ft-lb of impact energy for most demanding applications. Anti-Vibration Technology has an internal counterbalance system that reduces vibration to great extent. The 2-mode switch allows for fast mode change between "Chipping Only" and "Hammering with Rotation". The soft no-load function increase tool life by automatically reducing the speed of the motor when not in use. LED service light gives caution approximately 8 hours before brushes need to be replaced and also the LED power light indicates switch failure or cord damage. Torque limiting clutch is designed to minimize gear damage by automatically disengaging gears if bit binds. Constant speed control automatically applies additional power to the motor in order to maintain speed under load. The 24-bit angle settings ensures the bit to be set at different positions for enhanced operator convenience. It includes side handle, D-handle, depth rod, grease and case.

  • Makita 2-inch Advanced AVT rotary hammer comes with a depth rod, D-handle, and straight handle.

  • Also includes hammer-bit grease, oil-wiping cloth and assembly and accessory case.

  • Accepts SDX-Max bits for 2-inch drilling.

  • 15-Amp motor delivers 14 foot-pounds of impact from 1,100 to 2,250 bpm.

  • Variable speed control matches the tool with the task.

  • Soft-start technology prevents bit-walking.

  • Electronic speed control applies more power under load.

  • Makita electric rotary hammer operates in hammer-only or hammer-drill mode.

  • Hammer-only mode operates with trigger lock.

  • Sequential impact timing speeds up drilling time.
