The Voilé V6 BC represents Voilé’s third foray into the domain of scaled-base skis

If you are like 100% of backcountry skiers, when you find yourself on a long approach, all you want to do is get in a good rhythm and grind out the miles. Unfortunately, sometimes there are minor hills and undulations in your way and these muddy up the tour with frequent stops. Recognizing this, Voile has thought outside the box and created the V6 BC Backcountry ski. The V6's start with an aspen wood core and are layered with carbon fiberglass and topped off with cap construction and a burly polyamide topsheet, which gives the ski the toughness (and playfulness-tanks can rip!) of a tank, but with none of the weight.
