The clock features an elegant moon dial with date and milled and gold plated deco elements.The heart of Mozart Belcanto clock is the innovative bell chime playing the world-famous melodies from the Serenade in G Major "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" (K. 525, date of origin 1787) and the aria of Papageno "The Bird Catcher am I so" from the opera "The Magic Flute" (K. 620, premiered in Vienna in 1791). The clock features an elaborately crafted walnut case with beveled crystal glass door, side panels and roof to allow a clear view on the delicate chimes. An elaborate etched moon dial with a view of the famous city of Salzburg, Mozart’s birthplace, a lunar disc, radial chime selector, date and seconds display complete an elegant design.
