Thanks to the natural draft, the flame travels up past the window to heat the tubes. Adjustments are made easy by opening and closing the fresh air intake on the front of the stove. Opening the slider lets more air in, and slows down the burn for less heat, whereas closing it speeds up the burn for more heat. Since this impressively designed stove does not utilize electricity, heat is radiated from the 3.5" tubing with the steel baffles on the back.
