Formax FlashGuard 18R6 Laminator

The Formax FlashGuard 18R6 Laminator is perfect for print shops, schools, and corporate offices. Its durable metal casing and user-friendly functions make it a great choice for laminating and preserving a variety of items such as maps, charts, photos, documents, signs, menus, and IDs.

Experience efficient and dependable sealing with the 18R6's 6 high-performance rollers- 2 heat, 2 cooling, and 2 output. The solid metal casing remains cool to the touch due to the advanced internal cooling mechanism. Achieve optimal laminating results with the adjustable temperature control that reaches up to 320 degrees F (160 degrees C). For sensitive materials, utilize the cold lamination feature with special pressure-sensitive pouches.

The 18R6 handles pouches up to 18” wide, up to 14 mil, with a maximum laminating thickness of up to 3mm. The wide feed opening is ideal for larger projects like maps, charts, and posters. With an operating speed of up to 47 inches per minute, users can complete projects in a flash. Formax offers 3 mil and 5 mil laminating pouches for standard letter size 8.5” x 11” projects.

Operation is simple using the intuitive graphics-based LCD control panel: simply set the temperature and speed to match the laminating pouch and document thickness. A handy speed/temperature chart is printed on the top of the laminator for quick reference. The control panel features graphic indicators for hot/cold mode, speed, temperature, cooling fan, and roller operation, as well the ability to store 1 or 2 custom settings for frequently run projects.

Designed with an anti-jam rollers, it also includes a reverse button, and a dedicated cool-down cycle to prevent damage to the rollers.

    Formax agrees to repair or replace, at its option, any defective part or component covered by this warranty, provided there was no abuse and we first receive written notice of a defect within the applicable warranty period.  Wearable parts are not covered under warranty. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and does not include labor or the payment of any labor charges or incidental or consequential expenses.
