Aardwolf Mortar Mixers L40 - MML40

The portable Mortar Mixer L40 is a smaller version of the Mortar Mixer L-111 but is more suited for mixing grout and polymer based materials in smaller quantities. It can mix all materials from sand and cement through to self-leveling epoxies in 3 to 5 minutes. The Mortar Mixer L40 is designed for easy transport by one person. The vertical shaft mixing action does not splash and with the hand operated shoot, it delivers material as desired. The Mortar Mixer L40 is quiet enough to operate anywhere. This durable mixer has an all-steel frame and drum and is powered by a high torque 1 hp electric gear motor.

Maintenance Tips
  • Clean after every use: Remove all mortar residue from the drum, mixing paddles, and discharge area before material hardens.
  • Wash the mixing drum thoroughly: Rinse with water immediately after operation to prevent buildup and reduced mixing performance.
  • Inspect mixing paddles: Check for wear, cracks, or looseness and replace damaged components as needed.
  • Lubricate moving parts: Apply grease to bearings, shafts, and rotating components according to the maintenance schedule.
  • Check motor and drive system: Inspect belts, gears, and motor components for wear, proper tension, and smooth operation.
  • Tighten bolts and fasteners: Regular vibration can loosen hardware, so perform routine inspections.
  • Inspect electrical components: Check power cords, switches, and connections for signs of damage or wear.
  • Avoid overloading: Follow the recommended mixing capacity to prevent excessive strain on the motor and drive system.
  • Store in a dry environment: Protect the mixer from moisture, corrosion, and unnecessary weather exposure.
