Aardwolf Site Saw M1200 - SSM1200

It features a 3Hp Motor guided by twelve bearings rolling on two extruded aluminum bars, which ensure the accurate cutting of all types of natural and artificial stone.
One of the distinguishing features of the Aardwolf Site Saw SSM1200 is its cast aluminum machined worktable, which is firmly bolted to the water tank. This combination of solid cast table being bolted firmly to the water tank makes the saw very rigid, preventing the frame from twisting when placed on uneven surfaces, ensuring accurate cutting of the work piece.

Features
  • A roller conveyor, which makes loading easy and supports the work piece
  • Two load-support brackets containing adjustable stops which allow quick, accurate repeat cuts
  • Incorporated in the M1200 are wheels and rollers for effortless single-handed loading and transportation of the saw
  • Tilting bridge from 90° to 45° to carry out bevel cutting
  • Water tank with recycling pump
  • Manual depth adjustment of cutting head by hand wheel
  • Stainless steel measuring tape fixed to table and conveyor
What our Experts Think
  • Designed for precision on-site cutting – The SSM1200 is widely recognized as a reliable solution for accurate cutting of stone, concrete, and masonry materials directly at job sites.
  • Powerful and stable cutting platform – Experts highlight its rigid frame design, which helps reduce vibration and improves straight, controlled cuts even on dense materials.
  • Supports large-format materials – Built to handle slabs and oversized workpieces up to 1200 mm cutting capacity, making it suitable for professional installation and fabrication tasks.
  • Wet cutting system for cleaner results – The integrated water cooling system reduces dust, improves blade life, and ensures smoother cutting performance.
  • Heavy-duty motor performance – Equipped for continuous industrial use, it delivers consistent power for demanding cutting applications.
  • Improved job site productivity – Its portable yet robust design allows contractors to bring cutting capability directly to the installation area, reducing transport and handling time.
  • Durable construction for harsh environments – The reinforced steel structure is built to withstand daily construction site conditions and heavy-duty usage.

Q&A

Q1: What is the Aardwolf SSM1200 used for?
A: It is a heavy-duty job site wet saw designed for cutting natural stone, granite, marble, concrete, and engineered stone with high accuracy on construction sites and in workshops.

Q2: What motor does it have?
A: It is powered by a 3HP electric motor, guided by precision bearings on aluminium rails for stable and accurate cutting.

Q3: What makes its cutting accuracy high?
A: A rigid structure with a cast aluminium work table bolted to the water tank prevents frame twisting and maintains precision even on uneven surfaces.

Q4: What cutting angles are supported?
A: It allows straight cuts (90°) and bevel cuts up to 45° using a tilting bridge system.

Q5: What is the cutting length and size?
A: The saw has a total length of about 1370 mm (54") and supports large-format site cutting operations.

Q6: Is it easy to transport on site?
A: Yes. It includes integrated wheels and rollers for single-person movement and job site mobility.

Q7: Does it include water cooling?
A: Yes. It has a water tank with recycling pump to reduce dust and cool the blade during cutting.

Maintenance Tips
  • Clean after each use: Remove slurry, stone dust, and debris from table, rails, and cutting area to prevent buildup.
  • Flush water system: Clean water pump, hoses, and nozzles to ensure proper blade cooling and dust suppression.
  • Inspect diamond blade: Check for wear, cracks, or segment damage; replace if cutting performance declines.
  • Check blade alignment: Ensure blade is properly aligned and runs true to avoid vibration and uneven cuts.
  • Lubricate moving parts: Grease guide rails, bearings, and sliding components for smooth table movement.
  • Inspect motor & electrical system: Check cables, switches, and motor housing for damage or overheating signs.
  • Tighten fasteners: Regularly secure bolts, blade guard fittings, and frame connections.
  • Check water flow during operation: Ensure consistent cooling to extend blade life and improve cut quality.
  • Avoid dry cutting: Always use proper water supply to prevent blade overheating and damage.
  • Store in dry area: Protect from moisture and corrosion when not in use.
