Mr. Steam AutoFlush Valve with Cord - MS81500E

The optional AutoFlush System feature automatically drains the MrSteam system following each use. A time delay allows the water to cool down (about two hours) before it drains by gravity for a safe and gentle operation. Note: If the Express Steam option has been installed, the AutoFlush will drain for ten minutes then refill with fresh water to begin the pre-heat cycle.

Maintenance Tips
  • Ensure the AutoFlush valve is properly connected to the drain line and securely plugged into the generator control harness.
  • Do not remove, rotate, or tamper with the built-in drain valve—keep it in the factory open position.
  • The system automatically drains the steam generator about 2 hours after use to allow water to cool before discharge.
  • Periodically inspect the valve and cord for damage, corrosion, or loose connections, especially in humid environments.
  • Keep the drain line clear and free-flowing to prevent backup or slow draining.
  • If auto-drain does not trigger, check electrical connection and power supply to the generator system.
  • In hard-water areas, pair AutoFlush with routine descaling to reduce internal mineral buildup.
  • Avoid manually forcing drainage unless required for service—system is designed for automatic operation.
  • Ensure proper installation per local plumbing codes to prevent leaks or accidental discharge issues.
