CleanFreak Skid Mount Honda GX690 Engine w/ 8.0 GPM General Pump Pressure Washer (Gas) - 3,500 PSI - WET-ACF4-1000

This CleanFreak skid mount pressure washer is powered by a Honda GX690 gas engine. It is powered by a 3,500 PSI General Pump. The spray gun, hose, battery, battery box and battery cables are sold separately, so you can build the unit to you specific needs. 4 spray tips are included. We do have the most frequently bought items paired together above that are combines to form the most popular set up that we sell.

The powerful Honda V-twin engine comes with an electric start that makes starting the machine up extremely easy. The skid mount unit is extremely portable, so it can be wired directly to an external battery, or directly into a truck, or other electrical system. The great thing about the skid mount is how portable it can be, or how it can be permanently mounted somewhere with little effort. Great for mounting to a wooden pallet for maneuverability, or permanently mounted to a trailer, truck bed, or stand within a shop.

For other options, including other skid mount pressure washers, please take a look at our full lines of cold water gas and trailer mount pressure washers.

Q&A

Q: What is the CleanFreak Skid Mount Honda GX690 Pressure Washer used for?
A: It is a heavy-duty commercial pressure washer designed for industrial cleaning, fleet washing, construction equipment, and large surface cleaning requiring high water flow and pressure.

Q: What are the key performance specifications?
A: It delivers up to 3,500 PSI with an extremely high 8.0 GPM flow rate, powered by a Honda GX690 gas engine and a General Pump system for high-output performance.

Q: What makes the 8.0 GPM flow rate important?
A: The high water flow significantly increases cleaning speed, allowing faster rinsing of dirt, mud, grease, and debris over large surface areas.

Q: What types of jobs is this pressure washer best for?
A: It is ideal for fleet washing, heavy equipment cleaning, industrial facilities, agriculture equipment, oilfield service, and large-scale commercial cleaning operations.

Q: Is this unit suitable for mobile use?
A: Yes. The skid mount design allows it to be installed on trucks or trailers for mobile pressure washing businesses and field service operations.

Q: Why is a Honda GX690 engine used in this system?
A: The Honda GX690 is a commercial-grade twin-cylinder engine known for reliability, high torque output, and long service life in demanding applications.

Q: Does higher GPM matter more than PSI for this machine?
A: In large-scale cleaning, higher GPM is often more important because it moves more water, improving rinse power and reducing overall cleaning time.

Maintenance Tips
  • Flush pump, hoses, and spray system with clean water after each use to remove detergents and debris
  • Inspect and clean spray nozzles regularly to maintain full 8.0 GPM flow and consistent 3,500 PSI output
  • Check and change pump oil at recommended intervals to extend General Pump lifespan
  • Monitor Honda GX690 engine oil level and perform routine oil changes for reliable performance
  • Clean or replace air filter on the engine to ensure proper combustion and fuel efficiency
  • Inspect high-pressure hoses, fittings, and trigger gun for leaks, cracks, or wear before operation
  • Avoid running the pump dry—always ensure a stable water supply to prevent internal pump damage
  • Keep inlet water filter clean to prevent sediment from entering and damaging the pump system
  • Tighten all connections and fittings before each job to maintain stable pressure output
  • Store unit in a dry, covered location to protect engine, pump, and skid frame from corrosion
  • Use correctly sized nozzles to prevent overloading the pump and ensure optimal cleaning performance
  • Perform periodic inspection of belt, mounts, and skid frame to ensure safe, stable operation
