CleanFreak 4.0 GPM Hot Water Drain Jetter Skid w/ Tank & 200' Reel (Gas Engine) – 3,500 PSI - WET-APODCF4-0001J

This CleanFreak skid mount drain jetter system comes with a 225 gallon fresh water tank, 2 hose reels and a jetting spray nozzle. There is one 50' fill hose on a reel, and one 200' x 3/8" jetter hose on a reel. It also comes with a pulsation valve that when turned on causes the line to pulsate. This can assist in the jetter hose working its way down a pipe.

This 4.0 GPM system has a max pressure rating of 3,500 PSI, and is powered by a 14 HP Vanguard gas engine. It uses high pressure water jets to force water back through the system to clear buildup and clogs in pipes and lines. A great tool for unclogging drains and removing scale buildup, when no other tool will work. Drain jetters are extremely powerful and can cause damage to brittle pipes.

The main 200' x 3/8" jetter hose has 1 forward nozzle and several reverse nozzles pointed out at an angle that help "pull" the hose down through a drain pipe as the water is running.

This 4 GPM / 3,500 PSI configuration is your typical set up for 4" diameter pipes and smaller. For larger diameter drains, we also carry a similar 8 GPM model in our drain jetters department.

What our Experts Think
  • True commercial drain jetting power – Delivers 4.0 GPM at 3,500 PSI, giving you the high-pressure force needed to break through grease, sludge, scale, and stubborn blockages in professional drain and sewer lines.
  • All-in-one skid-mounted system – Integrated 225-gallon water tank + dual hose reels (50' fill + 200' jetter hose) lets you operate in remote locations without direct water supply.
  • Extended reach for deep line cleaning – The 200' high-pressure jetter hose with forward/reverse nozzles helps navigate long pipe runs while actively pulling itself deeper into the line.
  • Built for heavy-duty field work – Powered by a 14 HP Vanguard gas engine mounted on a rugged steel skid with forklift channels for easy loading and jobsite mobility.
  • Improves productivity on large jobs – Large onboard water capacity reduces downtime, while continuous feed capability supports longer uninterrupted cleaning cycles.
  • Designed for professional contractors – Ideal for plumbing crews, municipal maintenance teams, and industrial service operators handling frequent or high-volume drain cleaning work.

Q&A

Q: What is the CleanFreak 4.0 GPM Hot Water Drain Jetter Skid used for?
A: It is a professional-grade drain cleaning system designed to clear grease, sludge, scale, and blockages from sewer lines, floor drains, and commercial plumbing systems using high-pressure hot water jetting.

Q: What are the main specifications of this drain jetter?
A: It delivers up to 3,500 PSI with a 4.0 GPM flow rate and includes a gas engine, hot water system, onboard tank, and a 200-foot hose reel for extended reach.

Q: What makes hot water jetting more effective than cold water?
A: Hot water breaks down grease and organic buildup more efficiently, improving cleaning speed and reducing the need for harsh chemical drain cleaners.

Q: What types of jobs is this jetter best suited for?
A: It is ideal for commercial plumbing contractors, municipal maintenance, restaurants, industrial facilities, and any environment with frequent drain or sewer line blockages.

Q: How far can this system reach into drains or pipes?
A: The included 200-foot hose reel allows deep access into long drain lines, main sewer lines, and hard-to-reach blockages.

Q: Is this unit portable for field work?
A: Yes. It is mounted as a skid system, making it suitable for truck or trailer installation for mobile plumbing and drain cleaning services.

Q: Does it require chemicals to clear clogs?
A: In many cases, no. The combination of high-pressure hot water and specialized jetting nozzles is often sufficient to clear grease and debris without chemical cleaners.

Maintenance Tips
  • Flush hose, tank, and pump with clean water after each use to remove debris, grease, and drain residue
  • Inspect and clean jetting nozzles regularly to maintain consistent forward and reverse jet flow
  • Drain and rinse the water tank periodically to prevent buildup, odors, and bacterial growth
  • Check high-pressure hoses and the 200' reel system for kinks, wear, or leaks before operation
  • Lubricate reel bearings and moving parts as recommended to ensure smooth hose deployment and retrieval
  • Inspect engine oil level and perform scheduled oil changes to maintain reliable gas engine performance
  • Clean or replace water inlet filter frequently to protect the pump from sediment damage
  • Avoid running the pump dry—always ensure steady water supply before starting operation
  • Store unit in a dry, covered area to protect engine, pump, and skid frame from corrosion
  • Inspect jetting hose connections and fittings for tight seals to maintain full pressure output
  • Winterize system if stored in freezing conditions by fully draining water lines and tank
  • Use correct jetting nozzles for pipe size to maximize cleaning efficiency and reduce system strain
