PaintLine ProDryingRack EX-4 Plus Series - PDREX4

The ProDryingRack EX Plus Series has 15 removable shelves, can be configured with up to four towers, providing from 20" to 180" of horizontal rack space, and has a weight capacity of up to 1,800 LBS.

Each tower includes heavy-duty 5" locking casters and anti-torque stabilizers for rolling the entire rack to the desired shop area, even under load.

Features
  • Adding one tower, stabilizers and shelves create the PDREX-3, with 120” of horizontal rack space and 1,350 LBS of weight capacity.
  • Adding two towers and stabilizer component sets creates the PDREX-4, which has 180” of horizontal rack space and 1,800 LBS of weight capacity.
  • Removable, quick-release shelves for a variety of part sizes.
  • Quick-release front, back, and top support.
What our Experts Think
  • Maximum-capacity production drying system
The PDREX4 is the largest configuration in the ProDryingRack EX Plus Series, designed for high-output cabinet and millwork shops that need serious drying space.
  • Industry-leading horizontal capacity
Delivers up to 180" (15 ft) of drying space per level, making it ideal for long cabinet doors, trim runs, and batch production workflows.
  • Heavy-duty 4-tower configuration
Built on a modular system with four expandable towers and 15 removable shelves per tower, allowing flexible, scalable organization.
  • Extreme load handling strength
Supports up to ~1,800 lbs total capacity, making it suitable for dense production loads like solid wood doors and stair components.
  • Built for professional shop environments
All-metal construction with reinforced supports, powder-coated finish, and industrial locking casters ensures durability under daily use.
  • Mobile even when fully loaded
Heavy-duty casters with stabilizers allow the entire rack to be safely rolled around the shop without unloading materials.
  • Highly configurable workflow design
Shelves are fully removable and adjustable, enabling fast adaptation for mixed-size production runs and finishing stages.

Q&A

Q: What is the PaintLine ProDryingRack EX-4 Plus Series?
A: It’s a heavy-duty, expandable 4-tower professional cabinet drying rack designed for high-volume finishing shops that need maximum organized drying space.

Q: How is the PDREX-4 different from the base system?
A: It expands the standard PDREX platform into a four-tower configuration, significantly increasing both drying width and load capacity for production environments.

Q: How much drying space does it provide?
A: It offers up to 180 inches (15 feet) of horizontal drying space per level, making it ideal for large cabinet batches and long parts.

Q: How many shelves does it have?
A: It includes 15 removable shelves per tower, allowing flexible spacing for different door and panel sizes.

Q: What is the weight capacity?
A: The PDREX-4 supports up to 1,800 lbs total load capacity, suitable for heavy cabinet doors and solid wood components.

Q: Is it mobile?
A: Yes, it uses heavy-duty locking casters and stabilizers so the entire loaded rack can be safely rolled within a shop.

Q: What materials is it built from?
A: It is constructed from heavy-duty, powder-coated steel with reinforced support structure for industrial durability.

Q: Can it be adjusted or expanded?
A: Yes, it is modular—built from the PDREX system and expandable using conversion kits for different tower configurations.

Q: Who is it best for?
A: Ideal for cabinet manufacturers, professional painters, and woodworking shops with high daily production volume.

Q: What is the main advantage?
A: It maximizes throughput by combining massive drying capacity, mobility, and flexible shelf spacing in one industrial rack system.

Q: What is the key takeaway?
A: It’s a high-capacity production drying solution built for speed, organization, and large-scale finishing workflows.

Maintenance Tips
  • Clean shelf tubes after every batch: Remove overspray, dust, and dried finish from removable rods to keep smooth contact and prevent surface defects on cabinet parts.
  • Keep expansion rails debris-free: Wipe clamp levers and sliding frame joints so the rack expands/contracts smoothly (20”–180” system range) without sticking.
  • Inspect locking casters regularly: Clean 5” wheels and ensure locks engage fully—critical for safe movement under heavy loads (up to ~1,800 lbs total).
  • Tighten frame hardware periodically: Check bolts, stabilizers, and tower connections to maintain rigidity in the 4-tower structure.
  • Prevent paint buildup on support points: Hardened finish on contact surfaces can affect spacing and loading efficiency—clean promptly after use.
  • Avoid uneven loading: Distribute weight evenly across shelves to reduce frame stress and maintain stability during rolling or storage.
  • Keep powder-coated steel dry: Wipe down after cleaning or humid conditions to prevent corrosion and extend lifespan.
  • Store in a clean, dry shop area: Reduces dust accumulation and keeps moving parts operating smoothly for high-volume workflows.
