What our Experts Think
  • Complete, leak-resistant dishwasher hookup solution
This Eastman 6-ft braided stainless steel connector is designed to deliver a secure water supply connection between your shutoff valve and dishwasher, reducing the risk of leaks at critical joints.
  • Standard 3/8” compression inlet for easy compatibility
The 3/8-inch compression fitting connects directly to most modern dishwasher shutoff valves, making it a widely compatible replacement or installation line.
  • 3/4” hose thread outlet for appliance connection
The opposite end features a 3/4-inch hose thread (FHT) designed to attach cleanly to dishwasher inlets or included elbow adapters in many install kits.
  • Braided stainless steel construction for durability
Built with a 304 stainless steel braid over a reinforced inner core, it resists kinking, corrosion, and burst pressure from continuous household water supply use.
  • 6-foot length for flexible installation
The extended reach makes it easier to route behind cabinets and appliances without tension, especially in tight kitchen layouts or retrofit installs.
  • High pressure and temperature rated
Typically rated for standard residential water pressures (up to ~125 PSI) and hot/cold water use, ensuring stable long-term performance.
  • Lead-free and code-compliant materials

Maintenance Tips
  • Inspect for Leaks Regularly: Check both compression and hose-thread ends for moisture or dripping every 3–6 months.
  • Avoid Kinks or Sharp Bends: Keep the hose in a smooth curve to maintain steady water flow and reduce stress on fittings.
  • Ensure Tight but Not Over-Tight Fittings: Hand-tighten connections and avoid excessive force that can damage compression ferrules or threads.
  • Check for Corrosion or Wear: Look for rust, fraying braid, or bulging—replace immediately if any damage appears.
  • Secure Proper Alignment: Make sure the connector is not twisted during installation to prevent long-term strain.
  • Shut Off Water Before Service: Always turn off water supply before moving or servicing the dishwasher connection.
  • Prevent Movement Behind Appliance: Secure slack so vibration from dishwasher cycles does not loosen fittings over time.
  • Replace at First Sign of Aging: Even without leaks, replace if the hose is older or shows stiffness or wear for safety.
