Imer Koine DUAL Continuous Mixer, Pump and Sprayer - 1106312

The Koine DUAL continuous pumps make batching, mixing and pumping easy. Set the water level based on the material requirements and let the pump do the work. Break bags directly into the hopper as the feeding wheel delivers the dry material into the mixing chamber where metered water is introduced. A high shear mixing paddle spins up to 400 RPM on the Koine to whip the material up and discharges into the stator where the rotor creates the pressure to push the material into the hose. A rotor driven impeller ensures that the material is thoroughly mixed before it is placed. The Dual gets it’s name from having the ability to run on single phase or 3 phase. No more need to decide which one is right for you.

Features
  • Continuous mixing, spraying and pumping of pre-blended cementitious and gypsum based mortars, stucco, fireproofing, self-leveling underlayments and grouts
  • Run on 3 phase 208V, for full power or 240V single phase up to speed 7 of 8
  • Inverter technology balances the power and allows for 8 speeds on 3 phase as well as soft start
  • 100% duty cycle electric motor is thermally protected from overheating
  • Allows up to 275 bags per hour of underlayment or similar bagged product
  • LED backlit display indicates the status of the machine at all times

What our Experts Think
  • Continuous high-output mixing and pumping system - Designed for batchless operation of mortars, plasters, grouts, fireproofing, and self-leveling compounds, delivering constant material flow for large jobs.
  • Dual power flexibility (single + three phase) - Can operate on 208V 3-phase or 220–240V single-phase power, giving contractors maximum site compatibility without changing machines.
  • High-shear mixing performance - Uses a feeding wheel + turbo mixing paddle system up to ~400 RPM, ensuring fully homogenized material before pumping.
  • Integrated pump + spray versatility - Built to mix, pump, and spray in one continuous workflow, reducing downtime between batching and application.
  • High productivity output - Capable of very high material flow (up to ~140 cu ft/hour depending on mix), ideal for large-scale SLU and plaster projects.
  • Smart jobsite design - Includes dust control grate, vacuum port, and metered water system for cleaner, more controlled operation.
  • Professional-grade construction - Built for continuous duty, abrasive materials, and demanding contractor environments, ensuring long service life and reliability.

Q&A

Q: What is the Imer Koine DUAL used for?
A: It is a high-output continuous mixing, pumping, and spraying machine designed for cementitious and gypsum-based materials like plaster, grout, self-leveling underlayments, stucco, and fireproofing.

Q: What makes it “Dual”?
A: It can operate on either single-phase or three-phase power automatically, giving flexibility for different job sites without changing equipment.

Q: How does it work?
A: Dry material is fed directly from bags into the hopper, where a feeding system meters it into a high-shear mixing chamber. Water is precisely injected, and a paddle spinning up to ~400 RPM blends it before the rotor/stator pumps it continuously to the hose.

Q: What is its output capacity?
A: It can produce up to ~140 cu ft per hour and around 275–300 bags per hour (self-leveling material) depending on material type.

Q: What motor power does it have?
A: Total system power is about 9 HP, including a 7.5 HP drive motor plus auxiliary feed and water pump motors.

Q: What materials can it handle?
A: Mortars, plasters, grouts, fireproofing, self-leveling compounds, and other pre-blended cementitious or gypsum materials.

Q: Can it be used for spraying?
A: Yes, when paired with a compatible compressor and spray gun, it can apply stucco, plaster, and fireproofing materials continuously.

Q: What makes it jobsite efficient?
A: It eliminates batch mixing by producing a constant flow of ready-to-use material, reducing labor, downtime, and inconsistencies in application.

Q: Why choose the Koine DUAL?
A: It’s built for high-volume professional work, offering flexibility (single/three-phase power), continuous operation, and reliable mixing-to-pump performance in one integrated system.

Maintenance Tips
  • Flush system immediately after use: Run clean water through hopper, mixing chamber, rotor-stator, pump, and hose to prevent material hardening and blockages.
  • Clean mixing chamber & paddle: Remove all residue from the high-shear mixing paddle (up to ~400 RPM) to maintain consistent blending and prevent overload.
  • Maintain rotor-stator system: Inspect wear regularly and clean thoroughly—this is the core pumping element and directly affects pressure and output.
  • Check water metering system: Ensure flow meter, pump, and valves stay clean for correct mix ratio and consistent material quality.
  • Inspect hoses & couplings: Look for wear, leaks, or buildup; secure all quick-connects before every job to maintain pressure stability.
  • Clean feed hopper daily: Prevent dry material buildup so the feeding wheel can deliver consistent flow into the mixing chamber.
  • Monitor motor ventilation: Keep vents clear of dust and cement to avoid overheating during continuous operation.
  • Tighten key assemblies: Regularly check frame bolts, pump housing, and feed system alignment for vibration-free performance.
  • Store clean & dry: Fully flush and drain the system, then store in a dry area to prevent corrosion and internal clogging.
