Maintenance Tips
- Clean frame, fork, and drivetrain after trail, mud, or wet rides to prevent corrosion and drivetrain wear.
- Inspect chromoly steel frame regularly for paint chips, rust spots, dents, or stress marks; touch up exposed steel promptly.
- Apply internal frame rust inhibitor annually, especially in wet, snowy, or coastal riding conditions.
- Grease all threaded interfaces (bottom bracket, headset, thru-axles, bottle/rack mounts) to prevent seizing.
- Check suspension-corrected fork, dropouts, and disc brake mounts frequently for tightness and alignment after aggressive trail use.
- Maintain drivetrain (chain, cassette, chainrings) with frequent cleaning and lubrication, especially after muddy rides.
- Keep tire and frame clearance clear of packed mud or debris, especially with high-volume 29+ tires.
- Inspect wheels, hubs, and axles regularly due to trail impacts and wide tire loads.
- Avoid pressure washing to protect bearings, seals, and frame joints from water intrusion.
- Store indoors in a dry place to preserve steel durability and finish longevity.
