Quatro 1-0031-4007 Premium High Pressure SuperFlow Workstation-No Polishing Motor-Drilled For Baldor 353T Motor - 147.6133NMBALDOR

The Quatro 1-0031-4007 Premium High Pressure SuperFlow Workstation is a professional-grade polishing and dust collection system engineered for heavy-duty shop use. Designed for jewelers and metalsmiths who polish more than four hours a day, this workstation delivers superior suction, filtration, and visibility in a compact benchtop footprint. This model ships without a top-mounted polishing motor and is pre-drilled to accept a Baldor 353T 1/3 HP Heavy Duty 2-Speed Polishing Motor (sold separately).

Built on the foundation of the Quatro Standard Standalone model 1-0031-0100, the SuperFlow system incorporates significant upgrades developed from real-world customer feedback. A Premium High Pressure Brushless Suction Motor delivers enhanced airflow and suction, while a Pressure Indicator Alert notifies the operator when filters require changing. A Variable Speed Suction Motor Control allows precise adjustment, and the Automatic Start Valve System enables automatic start/stop activation from inside each hood — with the ability to shut off one hood to concentrate suction to the other.

Two fully enclosed ClearView hoods provide both safety and visibility, helping to contain particulates within the polishing area. Each hood is equipped with bright LED illumination strips for long-lasting, cool-tone lighting, and flip-up magnification discs are mounted on the exterior of each hood for added convenience. The two-stage filtration system uses three AF149 Sealable Filter Bags (Stage 1) and an F022 HEPA Filter (Stage 2), offering 50% more debris storage capacity than previous models. A Remote On/Off Switch is included.

What our Experts Think
  • Heavy-duty modular workstation base: The SuperFlow Workstation (147.6133NMBALDOR) is widely regarded as the core structural platform of Quatro’s premium polishing systems, engineered for shops that want maximum flexibility in motor selection and configuration.
  • Pre-configured for Baldor integration: Experts highlight its factory-drilled top plate for the Baldor 353T motor, ensuring precise alignment, reduced vibration, and easier installation of a high-torque polishing system.
  • Industrial-grade suction performance: Designed around Quatro’s high-pressure brushless extraction system, it delivers 450–550 CFM airflow, maintaining strong, stable dust capture across dual ClearView hoods.
  • Professional 2-stage filtration system: Uses sealable multi-bag pre-filtration + HEPA final stage, allowing efficient capture of heavy polishing debris while improving precious metal recovery and extending filter life.
  • Built for continuous production use: Experts consistently classify this workstation for 4+ hours of daily polishing work, making it suitable for manufacturing benches and high-output jewelry studios.
  • Dual ClearView hood system: Fully enclosed illuminated hoods with magnification support precision polishing while containing dust at the source—critical for clean studio environments.
  • Smart airflow control features: Includes variable suction control and automatic hood-based activation, allowing operators to concentrate airflow where it’s needed most during detailed work.
  • Modular “no motor” configuration advantage: By shipping without a polishing motor, experts note it allows studios to customize torque, speed, and brand preference (Baldor, Arbe, etc.), rather than being locked into a fixed system.
Q&A

Q: What is the Quatro 1-0031-4007 Premium High Pressure SuperFlow Workstation (No Motor, Drilled for Baldor 353T) – 147.6133NMBALDOR used for?
A: It is a professional dual-station high-pressure polishing and dust collection workstation designed for jewelry manufacturing, metal finishing, and continuous heavy-duty polishing operations.

Q: What is included in this “No Polishing Motor” version?
A: This version includes the complete SuperFlow dust collection workstation with two enclosed ClearView hoods, suction system, and filtration, but does NOT include a polishing motor. It is pre-drilled to accept a Baldor 353T 1/3 HP 2-speed motor.

Q: What does “drilled for Baldor 353T” mean?
A: The top of the unit is factory-prepared so a Baldor 353T polishing motor can be mounted directly, allowing users to customize or install their preferred motor separately.

Q: What are the key performance features?
A: It uses a high-pressure brushless suction system delivering about 450–550 CFM, providing strong dust capture across both workstations for continuous professional use.

Q: What filtration system does it use?
A: It features a two-stage filtration system with:

  • Sealable filter bags (heavy debris collection)
  • HEPA filtration for fine polishing dust

Q: Is it suitable for heavy-duty use?
A: Yes, it is designed for industrial workshop environments operating 4+ hours daily, especially jewelry production and polishing shops.

Q: How many workstations does it support?
A: It supports two fully enclosed ClearView polishing stations with LED lighting and magnification for precision work.

Q: What voltage does it use?
A: It operates on 110V / 60Hz standard electrical power, with 240V available by special order.

Q: What are the key benefits?
A: High suction power, enclosed dust control, modular motor flexibility, and professional-grade filtration make it ideal for scalable jewelry workshop setups.

Maintenance Tips
  • Maintain 2-stage filtration system: Replace sealable filter bags (Stage 1) and HEPA filter (Stage 2) regularly to preserve 450–550 CFM suction performance.
  • Monitor pressure indicator alert: Change filters immediately when the system signals restriction to avoid airflow loss and motor strain.
  • Empty debris bags frequently: Prevent polishing dust overload that can reduce suction efficiency and clog airflow paths.
  • Inspect ClearView hoods daily: Keep LED lighting, magnification lenses, and hood interiors clean for safe visibility and containment.
  • Check rear capture nozzles: Ensure polishing dust is being drawn evenly from both stations without blockage.
  • Maintain airtight seals: Verify filter door gaskets and housing locks to prevent dust leakage and suction loss.
  • Clean exterior and workstation surface: Use a dry cloth only—avoid moisture near electrical components and control panels.
  • Keep motor-ready mounting area clean: Since it is drilled for Baldor 353T installation, ensure mounting area stays free of dust buildup before/after motor installation.
  • Avoid continuous overload use: Designed for heavy-duty polishing, but still requires duty cycles to protect blower and filtration efficiency.
  • Routine internal inspection: Check blower intake and internal ducts periodically for accumulated fine polishing dust.
