Maintenance Tips
  • Keep dual guides clean: Remove ceramic and porcelain dust after each use to maintain smooth sliding and cutting precision—essential for intensive use.
  • Avoid over-lubrication: TS-MAX cutters are designed for dry operation; excess oil attracts abrasive debris and reduces accuracy.
  • Check scoring wheel condition: Replace worn wheels (6mm–18mm options) to ensure clean scoring on hard porcelain tiles.
  • Maintain breaker mechanism: The single-point breaker (≈800 kg / 1764 lb force) must stay aligned for consistent, chip-free snapping.
  • Wipe rails after light oiling (if needed): Apply minimal oil, move carriage, then wipe completely dry—no residue should remain.
  • Inspect lateral stop & guides: Ensure accurate straight and 45° repetitive cuts by tightening components regularly.
  • Store in carrying case: Protect the guide system and frame from impacts during transport to preserve calibration.
  • Routine weekly maintenance: Regular cleaning and inspection extend tool life and maintain precision, smooth operation, and cutting efficiency.
