Maintenance Tips
  • Daily Clean‑Up: After each use, disconnect power, let cool, then wash interior with warm water and mild detergent; use a nylon brush to remove food residues and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools.
  • Rinse & Dry: Thoroughly rinse and wipe both the inside and exterior dry with a soft cloth to prevent corrosion or water spots.
  • Tilt Mechanism Care: Use the two‑position tilt lock gently and periodically check that the handle and pivot points are clean and free of buildup for safe operation.
  • Check Water Jacket: For steam kettle models, inspect water level in the jacket and vent air as per manufacturer guidance to ensure efficient heating; follow venting procedures if pressure readings are out of range.
  • Valve & Gauge Maintenance: Open the pressure relief valve regularly to avoid lime buildup and verify gauges are functioning correctly; replace components if leaking or inconsistent.
  • Annual Service: Schedule professional inspection of electrical elements and seals at least once a year to maintain performance and safety.
