Q&A

Q: What is the Titan X-3 Bolt-Down Rack used for?
A: It is a heavy-duty power rack for squats, bench press, overhead press, pull-ups, and barbell training in serious home or garage gyms.

Q: What makes it “bolt-down”?
A: It must be anchored directly into the floor, providing maximum stability for heavy lifting and eliminating rack movement.

Q: What is the weight capacity?
A: It supports extremely heavy loads, typically rated around 1,500 lb+ depending on configuration and anchoring, suitable for advanced lifters.

Q: What material is it made from?
A: It uses 3” x 3” 11-gauge steel uprights, designed for commercial-grade strength and durability.

Q: What exercises can I do with it?
A: It supports full powerlifting and bodybuilding movements, including squats, bench press, deadlifts (inside rack), and pull-ups.

Q: Is it compatible with attachments?
A: Yes, it works with Titan X-3 attachments like dip bars, safety arms, pulley systems, and specialty add-ons.

Q: Is it better than a non-bolted rack?
A: Yes, it offers higher stability and safety under max loads, especially for dynamic or heavy barbell training.

Q: Is it suitable for home gyms?
A: Yes, but it is best for dedicated garage gym setups where floor bolting is possible and permanent installation is acceptable.

Maintenance Tips
  • Wipe down the steel frame after each workout to remove sweat and prevent rust or corrosion buildup.
  • Inspect all bolts, anchors, and hardware regularly and tighten any loose connections to maintain structural stability.
  • Check J-cups, safety arms, and attachments frequently for wear, alignment, and secure locking.
  • Keep upright holes clean and debris-free to ensure smooth insertion of pins and attachments.
  • Ensure floor anchoring remains secure and re-check bolts if the rack experiences heavy or repeated loading.
  • Lubricate attachment points lightly (if needed) to maintain smooth movement of accessories and safeties.
  • Avoid dropping heavy weights onto the rack frame to prevent structural stress or paint damage.
  • Inspect safety arms before every workout to confirm proper engagement and load support.
  • Store and use in a dry environment to reduce long-term corrosion risk.
