DK Phase BMX Frame - FR11005

It’s a great looking frame, but you can’t see some of the key features from the outside. It all starts with 100% high-quality Japanese butted, tapered, and heat-treated 4130 chromoly tubing. A unique offset inner “Eclipse” down tube wall that’s thin up top and thick on the bottom saves weight while maintaining strength. With the Phase, we created the perfect balance of responsiveness, stability and bike control, combined with tried and true materials in one do-it-all frame.

What our Experts Think
  • Versatile BMX Platform Frame: Designed as a strong foundation for street, park, or custom BMX builds with balanced performance and durability.
  • Responsive Geometry: Built for controlled handling, making it suitable for riders progressing in tricks, jumps, and technical riding.
  • Durable Construction: Engineered to withstand repeated impacts from BMX riding, including park sessions, street use, and light freestyle abuse.
  • Custom Build Flexibility: Compatible with a wide range of BMX components, allowing riders to tailor their setup for performance or style.
  • Lightweight Yet Strong Feel: Balances strength and weight to support both agility and long-term durability.
  • Progression-Friendly Design: Ideal for riders upgrading from entry-level bikes into more advanced BMX setups.

Maintenance Tips
  • Inspect frame, welds, and tubing regularly for cracks, dents, or stress marks, especially after impacts or racing use.
  • Clean frame with mild soap and water; dry thoroughly to prevent rust and preserve finish.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage paint or protective coatings.
  • Check dropouts and alignment areas to ensure proper wheel fit and chain tension setup.
  • Do not overtighten clamps or mounts (seat post, stem, accessories) to avoid frame tube damage.
  • Inspect bottom bracket and headset interfaces for movement or unusual noise when assembled.
  • Ensure all connected components (cranks, wheels, brakes) are properly torqued to prevent frame stress.
  • Avoid clamping frame tubes too tightly in repair stands to prevent deformation.
  • Store indoors in a dry environment away from moisture and direct sunlight.
  • Perform routine pre-ride inspections to ensure structural integrity and safe riding performance.
