Maintenance Tips
  • Rinse Thoroughly After Each Dive: After every dive, rinse the drysuit with fresh water to remove salt, sand, and debris. Make sure to rinse both the exterior and interior, especially around seals and zippers.
  • Dry the Drysuit Properly: Hang the drysuit inside out in a cool, shaded area to allow it to air dry completely. Avoid drying it in direct sunlight or using high-heat sources, as this can damage the material.
  • Inspect Zippers and Seals: Regularly inspect the zippers, seals, and wrist/neck cuffs for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Apply silicone lubricant to the zipper teeth periodically to ensure smooth operation.
  • Clean the Seals: Clean the latex or silicone seals using warm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry them completely before storage. Apply a seal conditioner if necessary, particularly for latex seals.
  • Store Correctly: Store the drysuit in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding it in tight spaces, as this can damage the fabric and seals. Use a suit hanger with wide shoulders to maintain the shape of the drysuit.
  • Regularly Check for Leaks: Before each use, check the drysuit for any visible damage or leaks. Perform a dry test by putting the suit on and checking for air leaks, especially around the seals.
  • Professional Servicing: Have your drysuit professionally serviced every year or as recommended by the manufacturer, especially if there are any issues with the seals or zippers.
