Trusted Clean 2000 Watt External Heater (#2000-HEATER-TC) for Trusted Clean Carpet Extractors - TPL-2000-HEATER-TC

This 2000 watt external heater sits on the back of the 3 Trusted Clean heated extractors that we carry. Those 3 models are the 100 PSI Ultimate Extractor220 PSI Maximum Extractor, & the Adjustable PSI extractor. This heater can also be added to the Supreme Extractor for the ultimate machine in power and heat. The heater helps those extractors maximize cleaning by heating the water up to 170° F, which helps to break the bonds between your carpet and the dirt embedded in it.

Each external heater sold comes with a 50' twist lock electrical cord, a warm up spray nozzle, and an inlet/outlet for you to hook it up to your machine and the solution dispensing hose.

The warm up spray nozzle that comes with the heater can be used to recycle the water and heat the water in your tank while you prep the job, or it can be used to pre-spray large areas. Simply attach the petcock to your solution line, and attach the heater to your machine. Place the petcock into the solution tank, turn on the pump, and turn on the heater. This will heat the water and recycle it back into the solution tank creating hot water. Hot water helps to breakdown stains and grime/dirt quickly to make your cleaning job easier. We also carry the 1000 watt Trusted Clean heater if you're looking for something that draws a little less power.

For a more comprehensive parts list, check each machine for its owners manual, or take a look at our extractor heaters section, which is located within our parts & service department.

Maintenance Tips
  • Flush Water Lines Regularly: Run clean water after use to prevent mineral buildup inside heater coils and hoses.
  • Never Run Dry: Always ensure water is flowing before activating heater to protect heating elements.
  • Descale Periodically: Use a manufacturer-approved descaling solution if operating in hard-water areas.
  • Check Inlet/Outlet Fittings: Inspect for leaks, cracks, or loose connections to maintain safe pressure flow.
  • Monitor Temperature Output: Watch for reduced heating efficiency—early sign of scale buildup or flow restriction.
  • Clean External Housing: Wipe down unit to remove dust and debris for proper ventilation and cooling.
  • Inspect Power Cord: Check for wear, fraying, or heat damage before each use for electrical safety.
  • Proper Storage: Store in a dry area and drain all water completely to prevent corrosion and internal damage.
