What our Experts Think
  • Compact overhead rail wet saw for precision work
The Imer Combicut 200 VA (Ref. 1188084) is an 8” lightweight bridge-style wet tile saw built for accurate cutting of ceramic, porcelain, and stone, especially on smaller to mid-size tile formats.
  • Strong professional motor in a portable body
Powered by a 1.75 HP, 110V direct-drive motor at ~2800 RPM, it delivers stable cutting performance without belts or complex maintenance.
  • Clean, precise cutting capacity
Handles up to 21” straight cuts (24” with plunge) and ~2.75” cutting depth, making it suitable for most wall and floor tile jobs.
  • Overhead rail system = accuracy advantage
The moving head design glides over a fixed table, improving visibility, reducing chipping, and ensuring straighter cuts compared to basic tray saws.
  • Built for real job-site flexibility
Includes folding stand, side extension table, water pump, and protractor guide, making it ready for setup and use straight out of the box.
  • Plunge + miter cutting capability
Supports plunge cuts and 45° miters, allowing L-cuts, corner trims, and angled finishing without switching tools.
  • Lightweight but durable construction
At around 48 lbs (saw body), it’s designed for transportability while still maintaining rigidity through cast aluminum structure.
  • Expert insight
This saw is best seen as a precision field saw, not a slab cutter—ideal when you need clean edges, controlled cuts, and portability over heavy industrial capacity.

Maintenance Tips
  • Flush water system after every use: Clean pump, hoses, and water tray to remove slurry and prevent clogging or blade overheating.
  • Empty and rinse water pan: Prevent hardened sediment buildup that can reduce water flow and cutting accuracy.
  • Clean sliding rail & cutting head: Wipe aluminum guide and pivot bushings to maintain smooth, precise overhead cutting movement.
  • Inspect diamond blade regularly: Clean resin/tile residue and replace when cutting speed drops or edge chipping increases.
  • Check water pump flow (≈3 GPM): Ensure consistent cooling directly at the blade to prevent overheating and wear.
  • Keep motor housing dry: Protect 1.75 HP motor from direct water exposure while maintaining clean ventilation.
  • Tighten rail & stand bolts: Maintain structural stability for accurate straight and miter cuts.
  • Store clean and dry: Prevent corrosion on aluminum frame and extend long-term cutting precision.
