Konner Sohnen KS 4000iEHS CO 3500W/4000W Generator LPG/Gasoline Inverter with CO Sensor Pure Sine Wave New - KS-4000IEHS-CO

The KS 4000iEHS CO portable inverter generator is a convenient source of electric power with a low noise level. The generator runs on both gasoline and liquified gas (propane) and includes a gas hose with a reducer for connection to a gas cylinder. With inverter technology, it delivers pure sine wave output, ensuring the safe operation of sensitive electronics such as smartphones, laptops, and other devices. Equipped with a DC 12V car socket, (2) 120V 20A outlets, one 30A outlet, and USB quick-charge 3.0 Type-C outlet.

Features
  • Pure Sine Wave: The built-in electronic unit with microprocessor control monitors the operation of the generator and provides a stable output voltage of 120V 60Hz sinusoidal form, which is suitable for the reliable operation of sensitive electronics.
  • Transportation Kit: This inverter generator is equipped with a transport system for easy movement. Two wheels and a handle that lifts when the generator is moved ensure comfortable transportation and mobility.
  • Robust Engine: The proprietary K&S engine meets modern emission standards and has a reduced level of harmful substances in exhaust gases. The generator is also equipped with a CO sensor, monitoring for the accumulation of carbon monoxide gas around the generator. If increased level of CO gas is detected, the sensor automatically shuts down the engine.
  • LPG/Gasoline: The generator runs on both gasoline and liquefied gas (propane). A gas hose with a reducer is included for connection to a gas cylinder according to DIN 477. Can be used with both a portable gas cylinder and with a stationary capacity for gas storage. Connection has to be made by a certified specialist. The pressure in the supply system must not exceed 16 Bar.
  • Ergonomic Control Panel: The control panel is equipped with LED display, 2x20 A outlets, USB Quick-Charge 3.0 Type-C, ECO MODE switch, typical 12V car socket, generator parallel connection output for double power receiving, as well as RESET button for resetting the control system (upon tripping of the circuit breaker) and restoring power supply.

Maintenance Tips
  • Oil Checks and Changes: Regularly check the engine oil level before each use. Change the oil after the first 20 hours of operation, and then every 100 hours or as specified by the manufacturer. Use the recommended oil type and dispose of used oil properly.

  • Inspect and Clean the Air Filter: A clean air filter ensures optimal engine performance. Check the air filter regularly for dirt or blockages. Clean or replace it if necessary. A clogged filter can lead to poor engine efficiency and overheating.

  • Fuel System Care: Always use fresh, clean fuel in the generator. If you're not using the generator for an extended period, drain the fuel tank to prevent fuel degradation and potential clogs in the carburetor. Regularly check fuel lines for leaks, cracks, or signs of wear and replace them as needed.

  • Test the CO Sensor: Since the generator is equipped with a CO (Carbon Monoxide) sensor for safety, test the sensor periodically to ensure it is functioning properly. Make sure the sensor is unobstructed and working as intended. Replace it if it malfunctions.

  • Spark Plug Inspection: Inspect the spark plug for signs of corrosion, dirt, or wear. Clean or replace the spark plug as needed. A faulty spark plug can result in poor engine performance or difficulty starting the generator.

  • Battery Maintenance (if applicable): If the generator has an electric start, check the battery for charge and proper connections. Clean any corrosion from the terminals and make sure the battery holds a charge. Replace the battery if it no longer works effectively.

  • Keep the Generator Clean: Regularly clean the exterior of the generator, focusing on cooling vents and the engine area. Remove any dirt, dust, or debris that may have accumulated. Be careful not to get water inside the engine or electrical components.

  • Lubricate Moving Parts: Apply lubricant to moving parts such as the recoil starter, following the manufacturer’s recommendations. Proper lubrication helps reduce wear and ensures smooth operation.

  • Run the Generator Regularly: Even if you’re not using it often, run the generator for 15-20 minutes every month to keep the engine in good condition. This helps prevent fuel from sitting idle in the carburetor and ensures that parts don’t seize up.

  • Proper Storage: When storing the generator for an extended period, make sure it’s kept in a dry, cool location. Drain the fuel tank to avoid fuel degradation. Cover the generator with a protective cover to keep it free from dust, moisture, and extreme weather conditions.
