Patterson Medical Off Set P.T.Rail - 554946

The Off-Set P.T. Rail is a unique wall-mounted support rail system which promotes safe standing and transfers to and from a toilet. It combines a solid feel and an innovative offset design, and unlike vertically aligned dual rail systems, this one allows better use of lower rail. The hinged model folds up to store out of the way, yet pulls down in an instant when needed. The PT Toilet Roll Holder is designed to reduce reaching and strain by including a conveniently placed toilet roll holder. The holder mounts securely onto any PT Hinged or Fixed Rail.

Constructed of a 1-1/2" diameter rail that provides maximum comfort and is ADA compliant
The “fluid feel” hinge holds its position wherever you leave it to prevent falls
Supports up to 400 lbs.

  • Check for any loosening at anchor points and tighten screws/bolts as needed.
  • Verify rail alignment remains firm and level to maintain safe support during transfers.
  • Examine the rail surface for cracks, bending, or coating wear and replace if damaged.
  • Keep the rail free from dust, moisture buildup, and cleaning residue for reliable grip.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners that may degrade finish or weaken materials.
  • Test stability regularly by applying gradual pressure before each use to confirm secure mounting.
  • Ensure surrounding wall structure remains solid (no movement, cracking, or water damage).
  • Schedule periodic safety inspections in high-use environments (bathroom or rehab settings).
