Maintenance Tips
  • Re-torque all mounting bolts regularly: Especially after off-road trips or heavy vibration to maintain frame stability.
  • Inspect aluminum extrusion channels: Keep T-slots clean from dirt, sand, and corrosion for smooth accessory mounting.
  • Check powder coat for chips: Touch up exposed aluminum quickly to prevent oxidation and long-term corrosion.
  • Wash after mud, salt, or beach use: Prevent buildup inside joints, crossbars, and mounting points.
  • Inspect welds and load points: Look for stress cracks after carrying rooftop tents or recovery gear.
  • Lubricate threaded hardware lightly: Use anti-seize on bolts to prevent galling in aluminum mounts.
  • Verify accessory weight ratings: Avoid overloading side panels, crossbars, or topper structure.
  • Check rack alignment monthly: Ensure no shifting between bed rails and rack uprights.
  • Inspect for wind noise or vibration: Tighten crossbars and accessories if whistle or rattles appear at highway speed.
  • Avoid long-term salt exposure: Especially in winter climates without frequent washing.
