Hayman  Top Loading Depository Safe - CV-H20-C

The Hayman CV-H20-C top loading depository safe comes with a standard dial combination lock, and has a 1/2" thick steel door. A digital electronic lock is available as an upgrade for an extra charge. The lock is protected by a drill stop hard plate which will prevent most drilling attacks. The lock is also protected by a spring loaded re-locking device that will seal the bolts shut during any kind of forced entry attempt. Like other Hayman CV products, this safe is protected by a reinforced door frame to prevent the use of a pry bar to pry open the door. All of these features combined give you some premier protection in the industry. Mount the safe to the floor and you have the perfect place for after hour deposits.

How it works:

The top loading depository safe is one of the best anti fishing safes on the market. Because it only allows one open access point, it is difficult to get fishing tools into the bottom of the safe cavity. As you deposit the money in the top, you turn the handle and the drum rotates which closes off the top opening and exposes the bottom opening only to the inside of the drum. Your drop that you placed in the drum will then drop to the bottom compartment and when returned to its normal position covered by the bottom of the drum. This rotary style depository safe allows for wide envelope deposits.

If you are looking for superior protection, then consider the Hayman CV-H20-C. It will give you the peace of mind you are after and provide your customers with the ease of doing business with you.

  • Lock options suited to business use
Comes with a UL‑listed combination dial lock, with an electronic lock upgrade available for faster access and modern convenience.
  • Compact, practical footprint
Fits easily under standard counters or behind service desks, with about 1.1 cu ft of interior storage, keeping valuables secure without taking up much space.

Maintenance Tips
  • Keep Rotary Hopper Clean: Regularly remove debris from the top-loading rotary drum to maintain smooth deposits and prevent jams in the anti‑fishing mechanism.
  • Test Lock & Relocker System: Periodically check the UL‑listed combination (or electronic) lock and internal relocker to ensure full protection against tampering.
  • Inspect Boltwork Operation: Open/close the door to confirm the auto‑detent system fully extends the locking bolts when shut.
  • Clean Exterior Finish: Wipe the powder‑coated steel surface to prevent corrosion and maintain durability in high‑use environments.
  • Check Anti‑Fish Mechanism: Ensure the rotary hopper and internal baffle remain aligned to prevent retrieval attempts.
  • Verify Floor Anchoring: Tighten mounting bolts regularly—anchoring is critical for security and prevents unauthorized removal.
  • Inspect Door & Hinges: Examine heavy‑duty hinges and reinforced door frame for wear or misalignment to maintain pry resistance.
  • Avoid Overfilling Deposits: Do not exceed recommended deposit size (approx. 9" depth capacity) to prevent internal blockage.
