What is Artec Care?

Accidental damage protection:

Get accidental damage protection by investing in Artec Care or a Premium Pack, and rest assured that if your scanner is unintentionally bumped or knocked, Artec's repair team will be there to help. Those seeking the maximum possible protection can combine Artec Care with a warranty extension to insure their scanner against material and workmanship defects for up to 7 years.

 With Artec Care, you can budget for exactly how much you're going to spend on scanning, safe in the knowledge that you won't run into unexpected repair costs.

Features

• Accidental Damage refers to any physical damage that results due to unexpected and unintentional events. Accidental Damage cases are counted only if the scanner or its parts are returned to Artec 3D.
• Artec Care works only in combination with a valid (original or extended) warranty and has to be purchased on the same day as a scanner or warranty extension.
• In the event of an accidental drop and damage of a scanner, the customer will have to pay US $500 per accident; Artec 3D will cover the rest.
• Shipping and taxes are not included.
• Any unused incidents will expire after 12 months. Any damaged or replaced parts of the scanner after the accidental drop irrevocably become the property of Artec 3D. They cannot be reclaimed by the scanner owner under any circumstances.
• Artec Care does not cover theft or loss coverage.
