Ferno Patient Shield - FNO-0822097
The Ferno Patient Shield (#0822097) is specially designed to minimize the transfer of pathogens between patients and patient handlers, equipment, and the environment. It requires the delivery of supplemental oxygen, preferably via non-rebreather, to prevent carbon dioxide build-up within the shield's seal.
The Patient Shield is designed for use with the 35X PROFlexx Ambulance Cot, 35A Ambulance Cot, 93H PROFlexx Ambulance Cot, and POWERFlexx. Hook-and-loop fasteners secure the shield to the backrest frame to pull the shield around the sides of the cot.
Other tubes, such as those for IV feeds and oxygen delivery, won't be hindered by the shield.
The versatile Patient Shield is also compatible with previous cot models such as the 93-ES SQUADMATE.
