Inspect the Blade: Check for dullness, cracks, or missing teeth and replace blades promptly to maintain smooth, accurate cuts.
-
Check Blade Tension and Tracking: Adjust tension according to blade width and ensure proper tracking on the wheels to prevent drift or breakage.
-
Lubricate Bearings and Guides: Apply light oil to wheel bearings and adjust blade guides as needed for smooth operation.

Protect the Table Surface: Apply a thin layer of paste wax to the cast-iron table to reduce friction and prevent rust.
-
Disconnect Power Before Maintenance: Always unplug the saw before cleaning, blade changes, or adjustments to avoid accidental startup.
