Rubi Tools TK Heavy Duty Tile Cutters - 15976

TK manual cutters are a new concept in manual ceramic cutting, it is the only asymmetric mono-guide cutter on the market. With a combination of cutting-edge materials and an innovative design, the TK from RUBI is the most advanced manual ceramic tile cutter on the market. Its special design with an asymmetric guide provides great visibility of the scoring wheel during marking, and it is also equipped with special bearings suitable for high load conditions that offer smooth and precise sliding.

Its 3,306.9 lbs (1500 kg) of maximum power and its exclusive and patented separating mechanism allow the professional tiler to operate the cutter with one hand, thus facilitating work with large formats of ceramic tile. The operation of separating the ceramic consists of a trigger and ratchet system that provides a feeling of safety and power during the cutting of the ceramic process. It includes a removable aluminum square provided with a magnetic system, with which we will improve the precision of the measurement and avoid possible movements or misalignments. The TK manual cutters have been specially designed to work with large format tiles.

What our Experts Think
  • Next-gen asymmetric monoguide design
The TK series (Ref. 15976) introduces RUBI’s most advanced single-rail system, improving scoring visibility and cutting precision compared to traditional manual cutters.
  • Extreme breaking power for tough materials
Delivers up to ~1500 kg (3300+ lbs) of separation force, easily handling dense porcelain and demanding ceramic tiles with clean breaks.
  • Superior scoring control & accuracy
The asymmetric guide design keeps the scoring wheel fully visible, helping reduce user error and improve straight-line precision during cutting.
  • Built for intensive professional use
Designed for daily contractor workloads, with reinforced chassis structure that reduces flex and improves long-term durability on job sites.
  • Clean, one-hand operation workflow
Integrated mechanism allows scoring and snapping in a single motion, improving speed and efficiency on repetitive cuts.
  • Handles thick modern tiles
Supports cutting heights up to ~21 mm, making it suitable for today’s heavy porcelain and large-format tile trends.
  • Transport-friendly pro design
Foldable structure and magnetic square system make it easier to move, store, and keep aligned on site, even under frequent use.

Q&A

Q1: What is the Rubi TK 15976 tile cutter used for?
A: The Rubi TK 15976 is a heavy-duty professional manual tile cutter designed for intensive cutting of porcelain, ceramic, and extruded stoneware tiles.

Q2: What makes the TK series different from other tile cutters?
A: It features an asymmetric monoguide system, giving exceptional visibility of the scoring line and smoother cutting control.

Q3: What is the breaking power of the TK 15976?
A: It delivers up to 1500 kg (≈3300 lbs) of separation force, allowing clean breaks on dense porcelain tiles.

Q4: What tile thickness can it handle?
A: The cutter supports tiles up to approximately 21 mm thickness, suitable for heavy-duty materials.

Q5: What is the cutting length of this model?
A: The TK 850 (15976) offers up to 85 cm (34") straight cutting capacity and 60×60 cm diagonal cuts.

Q6: Is it suitable for porcelain tiles?
A: Yes, it is specifically engineered for high-intensity cutting of porcelain stoneware, where strong breaking force and precision are required.

Q7: What improves cutting accuracy on this model?
A: The asymmetric guide design improves scoring visibility, while the reinforced chassis reduces flex for more precise cuts.

Q8: Is it easy to transport and store?
A: Yes, it features a foldable, reinforced structure with carrying case compatibility, making job-site transport easier.

Q9: What type of professionals use this cutter?
A: It is built for professional tile installers and contractors handling frequent, high-volume tile cutting tasks.

Maintenance Tips
  • Clean guide rail after each use: Remove ceramic dust and debris to maintain smooth scoring and consistent cutting accuracy.
  • Keep sliding carriage dust-free: Wipe bearings and runner system to ensure smooth, low-friction movement under heavy load.
  • Check scoring wheel condition: Replace worn wheels to maintain clean, precise scoring on porcelain and stoneware tiles.
  • Inspect breaker system regularly: Ensure the high-force separation mechanism (up to ~1500 kg) stays aligned for clean, chip-free breaks.
  • Avoid unnecessary lubrication: Use dry cleaning only; oil attracts abrasive tile dust and reduces performance.
  • Tighten square and guide locks: Keep magnetic square and locking systems secure for accurate straight and angled cuts.
  • Protect during transport: Use the folded position and carry case to prevent rail bending or misalignment.
  • Store in dry environment: Prevent corrosion and preserve smooth guide operation over time.
