Maintenance Tips
-
Daily Wipe Down: After cooling, clean stainless steel surfaces, burners, cast-iron grates, and crumb tray with mild detergent and warm water to reduce grease and debris buildup.
-
Remove & Clean Burners: Lift off burner heads and grates regularly to clear food particles — this helps maintain even flame performance.
-
Check Gas Connections: Inspect LP hoses and fittings for leaks, damage, or loose connections before use; tighten or replace as needed.
-
Monitor Flame Quality: Ensure a steady blue flame on each burner; irregular or yellow flames can signal clogged ports or improper air/gas mix.
-
Empty Crumb Tray Daily: Remove and clean the full-width front crumb tray to prevent fire hazards and support sanitation.
-
Proper Ventilation: Keep the area around the unit ventilated to avoid overheating or gas buildup during operation.
-
Periodic Professional Service: Schedule routine inspection by a qualified technician to check valves, regulator, and pilots for safety and optimal performance.
