Maintenance Tips
-
Daily Clean & Wipe: After each shift, wipe down stainless surfaces, burners, and drip trays with mild detergent and warm water to prevent grease buildup and staining.
-
Remove & Soak Burners: When cool, lift off burners and grates; soak in warm soapy water to remove food debris and ensure even flame performance.
-
Inspect Gas Connections: Regularly check gas lines and connections for leaks or wear; turn off gas if you detect odor and call a technician.
-
Check Flame Quality: Ensure consistent blue flame; yellowing or irregular flames may signal clogged ports.
-
Empty Drip Trays: Clean crumb and grease trays at least daily to reduce fire hazards and improve hygiene.
-
Vent Hood Upkeep: At least twice a year, clean and inspect exhaust hood and ventilation to maintain proper airflow and safety.
-
Lubricate Controls: Periodically have valves and controls checked and lubricated by a qualified service provider to extend lifespan.
