The Makita brushless cordless metal cutting saw kit contains a cutting saw, rapid charger, battery and a tool bag. Saw with a cutting capacity of 2-5/8 Inch is operated by a brushless motor that delivers up to 160 cuts per charge in 2-1/2 Inch x 2-1/2 Inch x 4 Inch steel angle. Active feedback sensing technology turns the motor off if it detects any sudden stopping of the tool. This saw can be used on various materials such as pipe, stud, channel, strut, conduit, angle, square tubing, sheet metal and more. Tool can be repositioned easily with an electric brake for optimum productivity. LED light with pre-glow and after-glow feature brightens up the workspace. Rubber grip on the soft handle minimizes fatigue and ensures good user comfort. Trigger switch consists of a two-lock mechanism that requires the user to press a button on the handle with their thumb to initiate the tool. Battery can be loaded in the tool from the side and the compact 13-3/4-Inch-long design makes it easy to use in confined spaces. XPT technology gives good resistance to water and dust in harsh conditions and the on-board hex wrench gives good operator convenience. Integrated overload indicator alerts the user of excessive power load. XGT battery starts the engine immediately and prevents the hassles of pull starts. Batteries have an impact-resistant construction to secure the tool in harsh conditions. Dual fan design of the charger cools down the battery and circuit board to prolong the tool life and the digital display indicates the battery level. Built-in chip of the charger helps in monitoring the current, voltage and temperature for efficient charging. Digital communication features an XGT technology to protect the battery from overheating, over-discharge and over-loading. Multi-layer contact interface produces more power on high current demands.
