The Beckhoff EL5151 EtherCAT Terminal is designed for direct connection to one incremental encoder (24 V HTL) and includes an additional 24 V digital input for storing or blocking the counter status. It can also function as a 24 V up/down counter. The terminal supplies 24 V power directly to the encoder via connection points.
