The EL7031 EtherCAT Terminal is intended for the direct connection of stepper Motors in the low power range up to 1.5 A. The compact stepper motor output stage is accommodated in the EtherCAT Terminal together with two digital inputs for limit switches. Through parameterization, the EL7031 can be adjusted to the motor and the application requirements. 64-fold micro-stepping ensures particularly quiet and precise motor operation.

Information About EL7031
The El7031 EtherCAT Terminal is designed to enable direct connection of various small stepper motors. It is a compact Drive Technology with a two-phase stepper motor. You can adjust EL7031 to suit the motor and application. Simply change a few of the parameters to enable this function. With a 64-fold micro-stepping mechanism, the motor operation is almost noiseless.

It weighs approximately 50 grams. Another interesting feature is the current control frequency. It is approximately 25 kHz. It conforms to the En 60068-2-6/En 600068-2-27 shock resistance template. The resolution is approximately 5000 positions in typ. applications. This product has received the approval and certification of CE and UL. It is designed in line with international standardized specifications. Therefore, it is a standard product that can stand the test of time.

Other exciting specifications include the current consumption E-bus and electrical isolation which are typ. 120 mA and 500 V (E-bus/field potential) respectively. This motor terminal has various housings with than 3 power contacts. These housings also have different voltages. Due diligence must be taken to ensure that a change in voltage begins with a power feed terminal. This will prevent any power surge. It has 3 spring contacts and the nominal voltage is 24 V DC.
