Maintenance Tips
  • Clean the Condenser Coils: Clean the condenser coils every 1-2 months to remove dust and debris, which helps maintain efficient cooling and prevents the unit from overheating.
  • Inspect Door Gaskets: Check the door gaskets for wear or damage. Replace them if necessary to ensure a proper seal and prevent cold air leakage, which can affect cooling efficiency.
  • Monitor Temperature Settings: Ensure the unit maintains the correct temperature (34°F-40°F) for optimal food storage and to prevent spoilage.
  • Defrost as Needed: If frost builds up, manually defrost the unit to maintain cooling efficiency and avoid excessive ice buildup.
  • Regular Interior Cleaning: Clean the interior, including shelves and food pans, with mild soap and water to avoid contamination and ensure sanitary food storage.
  • Ensure Proper Airflow: Avoid overcrowding the prep table and keep air vents clear of obstructions to allow for proper airflow and even cooling throughout the unit.
  • Check and Clean the Drain Line: Inspect and clean the drain line regularly to prevent clogs and ensure proper drainage of excess moisture.
  • Inspect the Evaporator Fan: Ensure the evaporator fan is functioning properly to distribute cold air evenly inside the prep table and maintain consistent temperatures.
  • Clean the Exterior: Wipe down the stainless steel exterior with a damp cloth to remove fingerprints, stains, and maintain its professional appearance while preventing rust or corrosion.
  • Proper Placement: Install the prep table in a well-ventilated area, away from heat sources, and ensure there is enough space around the unit for proper airflow.
