Maintenance Tips
  • Clean the Condenser Coils: Clean the condenser coils every 1-2 months to remove dust and debris. This ensures the unit operates efficiently and prevents overheating.
  • Inspect the Door Gaskets: Regularly check the door gaskets for wear or damage. Replace them if necessary to maintain an airtight seal and prevent cold air loss.
  • Monitor Temperature Settings: Ensure the refrigerator maintains the proper temperature (34°F-40°F) to keep ingredients fresh and safe.
  • Defrost as Needed: If frost builds up, manually defrost the unit to prevent cooling inefficiencies and ensure proper function.
  • Interior Cleaning: Regularly clean the interior, including the shelves and the food pans, with mild soap and water to prevent bacteria buildup, odors, and contamination.
  • Ensure Proper Airflow: Keep air vents clear and avoid overcrowding the prep table to allow for proper airflow and even cooling.
  • Check and Clean the Drain Line: Inspect and clean the drain line periodically to prevent clogs and ensure proper drainage.
  • Inspect the Evaporator Fan: Make sure the evaporator fan is functioning properly to ensure cold air is evenly distributed and temperatures remain consistent.
  • Clean the Exterior: Wipe down the stainless steel exterior with a damp cloth to maintain a professional appearance and prevent rust or corrosion.
  • Proper Placement: Place the prep table in a well-ventilated area, away from heat sources, and ensure there is adequate clearance around the unit for optimal airflow.
