  • Sleep Mode
The function enables the air conditioner to automatically increase cooling or decrease heating 1°C per hour for the first two hours, then holds steady for the next 5 hours, after that it will switch off. This function maintains both energy savings and comfort at night.
  • Temperature Compensation
Temperature compensation function eliminates the difference in temperature between the floor and ceiling by mixing the different layers of air. Consequently, the time for cooling the room is reduced, and a cold offset rising stream of warm air by stirring.
  • Refrigerant Leakage Detect
Indoor unit shows error code "EC" and stops automatically when refrigerant leakage is detected. This protects the compressor from high temperature damage due to refrigerant leakage.
  • Anti-cold Air Function
Indoor fan speed is regulated automatically from the lowest grade to the setting grade according to evaporator temperature when the unit just starts heating operation. This function can prevent cold air blowing out to avoid discomfort to the users.
  • Emergency start
  • Low Ambient Cooling
With built-in low ambient kit or special designed PCB, outdoor fan speeds can be changed automatically according to condensation temperature. The air conditioner can run heating operation even when the outdoor ambient temperature is down to -13°F.
  • 1W Standby
Intelligent on-off technology enables Pioneer products automatically  enter energy-saving mode when standby, cut energy consumption from normal 5W to 1W or 0.5W per hour which counts 80%~90% of saving.
  • 2-way Draining
Both left and right sides of the indoor unit are possible for outstretch of connective piping and drainage hose for easy installation.
  • Follow Me (Remote Thermostat)
Temperature sensor built in the remote controller will sense it’s surrounding temperature. The unit will adjust the room temperature more accurately to give you comfort.
  • 46°F Heating
In heating operation, the preset temperature of the air conditioner can be as low as 46°F, which keeps the room temperature steady at 46°F and prevents the house from freezing when it is unoccupied for a long time in severe cold weather.
  • Chassis Heating Belt
Heating belt is fitted on the base plate of the outdoor unit to prevent defrosting water accumulation, which improves heat transfer efficiency.

      • Regularly Clean the Air Filters: Clean the air filters every 1-2 months to maintain airflow and efficiency. Use a vacuum cleaner or rinse them gently under water. Allow the filters to dry completely before reinserting them to avoid mold growth.

      • Inspect and Clean the Coils: Dirty coils reduce system efficiency. Inspect the evaporator and condenser coils every 6 months. Clean them using a soft brush or compressed air to remove dirt, dust, and debris.

      • Check for Ice or Frost Buildup: If you notice ice or frost forming on the evaporator coils, it could indicate poor airflow or refrigerant issues. Turn off the unit and allow the ice to melt before checking for any obstructions or scheduling a service call for possible refrigerant leak issues.

      • Ensure Proper Condensate Drainage: Ensure that the condensate drain is clear to prevent water leakage and damage. Regularly check the drainage line, and if needed, use a wet/dry vacuum to remove any blockages that could affect water flow.

      • Maintain Refrigerant Levels: Low refrigerant levels can lead to poor performance. If cooling or heating efficiency drops, it could indicate a refrigerant leak. Contact a professional technician to check and refill refrigerant levels annually.

      • Clean the Outdoor Unit: The outdoor unit should be free from debris such as leaves, dirt, or branches, which can block airflow. Keep the area around the unit clear and clean to ensure it works at full capacity and doesn't overheat.

      • Check Refrigerant Lines: Inspect the refrigerant lines regularly for damage or wear. Make sure the insulation around the lines is intact to prevent energy loss. If you notice any damage, replace or repair the insulation to maintain efficiency.

      • Monitor System for Unusual Noises or Performance Issues: Listen for unusual sounds such as grinding or rattling, and watch for performance issues, such as reduced cooling or heating output. These could signal internal problems that may need professional repair.

      • Schedule Annual Professional Maintenance: For comprehensive care, schedule an annual maintenance appointment with a licensed technician. They can check the system's overall performance, inspect the refrigerant levels, clean the internal components, and ensure the system is running at peak efficiency.
