The TM Manufacturing Pro Log Splitter is designed for commercial heavy users that need efficiency, power and reliability. This unit is perfect for tree service companies, arborists and all other heavy commercial users.

Why Choose The Pro Series Skid Steer Log Splitter?

The TM Pro Log Splitter has several huge advantages over the TM Heavy Duty Log Splitter. The first is the viewing window. The viewing window is strategically placed so that the skid steer operator has the wood being split in clear sight all of the time. This allows not only for much easier operation, but also faster splitting times.

The TM Pro Log Splitters comes with an optional 24” stroke, as well as the 30” and 36” stroke offered in the Heavy Duty Model. The 24” stroke length option increases splitting speeds, and is a great option if you are primarily splitting smaller rounds.

The Pro Series 24 comes with a 4” hydraulic cylinder. This cylinder will produce 20 to 25 ton of pressure at 3000 to 3500 PSI. The 24” stroke combined with the 4” cylinder gives a great advantage of faster cycle times, allowing for you to split more logs per hour.

If you choose to go with the the longer 30” or 36” stroke, you can choose between a 4.5” or 5” cylinder. The 4.5” cylinder will produce 25 to 30 tons of force at 3000 to 3500 PSI. The 4.5” cylinder is generally the preferred set up, as it gives the best balance between speed and splitting force.

Optionally, you can choose to go with a 5” cylinder on the TM Manufacturing Pro Series 30 or 36 Log Splitter. The 5” hydraulic cylinder will provide 30 to 35 tons of pressure at 3000 to 3500 PSI. This huge amount of splitting force is great for big ugly rounds, but comes with the trade off of being slightly slower than the 4.5” cylinder.

    Maintenance Tips
    • Monitor Hydraulic Fluid Levels: Check hydraulic fluid levels regularly, topping off if needed. Clean or replace the fluid per the manufacturer’s guidelines to prevent pump wear and maintain system performance.
    • Inspect Hydraulic Hoses and Fittings: Inspect all hoses, connections, and fittings for leaks, cracks, or damage. Tighten or replace any compromised components to avoid hydraulic failure.
    • Clean and Sharpen the Splitter Blade: After each use, clean the splitter blade to remove any debris or wood buildup. If the blade appears dull, sharpen it to ensure efficient splitting and prevent strain on the system.
    • Lubricate Moving Parts: Regularly lubricate all moving parts, such as the ram and pivot points, to reduce friction, prevent premature wear, and ensure smooth operation.
    • Tighten Bolts and Fasteners: Check and tighten all bolts, nuts, and fasteners to ensure the splitter attachment is secure and stable during use.
    • Inspect and Clean the Hydraulic Cylinder: Look for signs of leaks or damage in the hydraulic cylinder. Clean the cylinder regularly to prevent dirt and debris from affecting performance.
    • Remove Debris After Use: After each use, clear wood chips, dirt, or other debris from the splitter attachment to prevent clogging and maintain proper airflow and functionality.
    • Store Properly: Store the attachment in a dry, covered area to protect it from moisture and prevent rust. If stored outside, use a weather-resistant cover.
    • Check for Wear and Tear: Regularly inspect the attachment for wear, especially on the wedge, ram, and frame. Address any signs of damage or excessive wear to avoid costly repairs.
    • Perform Safety Checks: Ensure that all safety guards and features are in place and functioning before use. Regularly inspect the attachment for any hazards that could cause accidents.
