Maintenance Tips
  • Disconnect the unit by unplugging the power cord.

  • Remove the grill assembly by unscrewing the top screws on the louver grill with a Phillips screwdriver. Some True models have a door light switch with wiring in this area. Make sure you don’t pinch the wires during this step.

  • Access the condenser assembly and loosen the bolts anchoring it to the frame rails. Carefully slide out the assembly to access the condenser coil.

  • Brush off dust and dirt using a stiff bristle brush. You can also use an air or CO₂ tank to blow out any large buildup.

  • Clean condenser fan blade by lifting the cardboard cover above the fan and using the stiff bristle brush or compressed air to clean off dust from the fan blades.

  • Vacuum the surrounding area to remove any remaining debris.

  • Reassemble by sliding the condenser assembly back into place and securing the grill. Reconnect the unit and ensure the condenser is running properly.
