Maintenance Tips
  • Wipe Exterior Weekly: Clean the stainless‑steel finish with a soft cloth and mild detergent or warm, soapy water to remove grease and fingerprints; always wipe with the grain and avoid abrasive pads/steel wool to protect the finish.

  • Clean Blower & Internal Grease Zones: This hood comes with Vent‑A‑Hood’s Magic Lung patented blower system that traps grease inside — regularly wipe the internal grease‑collection areas and blower housing to prevent buildup and maintain strong airflow and extraction.

  • Inspect Duct & Vent Paths: Periodically check that ductwork and vent openings are clear of obstructions so the 1200 CFM system performs at peak efficiency.

  • Check Lights & Hardware: Wipe and replace LED light covers as needed; tighten loose screws to ensure secure mounting and good illumination.

  • Run Fan After Cooking: Run the fan for a few minutes after cooking to clear smoke, steam, and odors, reducing residue buildup over time
